Tom Benjamin

At Sanctuary

I aim to combine my experience of over 15 years as a business owner and professional coach, to enable me to make a positive impact in my role as a financial planner.

At Home

Life is very busy! Between 2 children, 3 dogs, sheep, pigs, chickens and ducks there is rarely a moment to sit down at our smallholding in Monmouthshire. My perfect Sunday afternoon is spent out with the dogs and children exploring the countryside.

Throughout the early 2000’s I had the honour of representing Wales at golf, before turning professional aged 18 where I then found my passion for coaching.

My other passion is cars, where I’m grateful to have had the privilege of running a family business with my dad since 2009

What were the circumstances that caused you to look for a financial adviser?

Financial advice about transferring an occupational pension into a private pension.

How did they help you?

Helped by giving me advice which was thorough and comprehensive, identifying the pros and cons of each financial option available. Then managing and coordinating the transfer of the pension, from the occupational pension to a private pension and monitoring its performance.

What is your current situation? Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The pension is now invested in a suitable personal pension, which is appropriate to my individual nears, the outcome has been very favourable.

What could they have done better?

Nothing, I am very satisfied with the advice and services I have received.
